COWPOKE Adult Ministry

The "Cowpoke" is the most interesting worker on a ranch.  They are the ones that stick with the heard through good and bad weather and protect the heard at all cost.  They have the dirtiest and hardest job on the ranch but without them there is little hope for the future.  So, it is with parenting!  Moms and dads have a difficult job to do especially in the culture that we live in.  The question for the "Cowpoke" is does your heard see Jesus in the job you are attempting to accomplish. We preach the word of God literally. We believe that the Bible is perfect, without errors, and that Salvation is open to “ALL” that call on the name of the Lord. We use technology and humor in the preaching of the Gospel because we believe that both sight and sound are important. We believe and preach that Salvation is only found in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and it is through that blood only that people can be saved.  We alo use this time to lift up Christian parents and their need to be immersed in the lives of their children.  Parenting is a gift from God, but parents must exemplify Godly behavior in front of their children if they want their kids to have a chance. Grandparents are heavily involved in parenting and also need encouragement for all that they do.  Foundations is a topic, you could say, that builds the home. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Proverbs 22:6, Ephesians 6:1-4, Proverbs 29:17, 3John 1:4, Proverbs 17:6).
